Lounging around

Hello! Over the weekend I decided to take a trip down to the The Geffrye Museum . I go there to find a wealth of inspiration on interiors and history in the UK. It's also such a calming place to reflect on things whilst enjoying the gardens too. It really is such a beautiful place right in the center of all the hustle and bustle in Shoreditch. Make sure you try and visit it if you can! It really is worth it and the bonus is it's FREE!

This is also my first outfit post so please bear with me. They will get better than this promise. I was going for a relaxed and comfortable weekend look with my American Apparel jeans  and Superga plims. The bag is from Topshop and the top is another American apparel number I had in my wardrobe. I love reusing the same things where I can and refreshing my look with a couple of key staples.

Spring has sprung

So much for being able to post regularly. I have been off for a month with pneumonia. It was as horrific as it sounds. Anyway I seem to be on the mend finally! Hurrah!!!

I'm hoping to get back to normality by Monday and can start posting and being a normal person again. It really made me want to be as healthy as possible going forward and try my best not to get ill like that again. Being able to walk around without being in excruciating pain really is the most wonderful thing. It's something I am not going to take for granted again.

Just thought I'd share with you a few things I received whilst lying in my sick bed. Hope you're well!

So spring is in the air and I am am currently contemplating colours for the wedding. To colour or not to colour that is the question. I have been a convert recently to Essie as their colours are amazing. The texture is always smooth and consistent and they last a lot longer than the other brands I have tried. I have to admit I do have a bit of a polish problem but at least it isn't too expensive and doesn't make me feel too guilty when I splash out on another bottle I don't think I am damaging the wedding fund too much!

What better weekend to start blogging again than on then Valentines day weekend. I filled mine with flowers, taking photos, having lots of food, going to the market looking at art and wedding planning! Surprisingly Elle has some interesting ideas. I guess they are just prepping us for the launch of their very own bridal edition which I am definitely excited about seeing!!
